Our children need safe environments, and do not have that. The USA accounts for 85% of global school shootings and the leading cause of death among children is gun violence. Stop School Shootings USA is dedicated to identifying & promoting pragmatic solutions, devoid of political partisanship. While we need politicians to get some solutions legislated, Stop School Shootings USA solutions arise from and are prioritized by everyday citizens.
Please do your parenting homework by reading the material, taking the survey, and promoting solutions with your neighbors, merchants and political representatives.
After you are finished, please note that this is not a one and done situation. If we do not change the minds of most citizens, we run the risk of legislative changes being undone when political parties change. We must do this as one Minnesota. No one, except a shooter, wants school children to die. However, too many people refuse to own the problem. In the business world, if someone said “That’s not my job”, it was time to show them the door. Stopping School Shootings is everyone’s job and I for one am extremely frustrated that we are not doing enough.
Our mission is to do more than getting everyone to own this problem. Our mission is to get everyone to believe that we can solve it much much better and save the general taxpayer money in the process.
